I am visiting Scotland 31 Jul - 05 Aug (95%, still to book accomodation and stuff), I will be visiting Fort William with the intention to climb Ben Nevis and create some landscape photography work in the surrounding areas. I also plan on visiting Edinburgh through my trip. If any of you would like to shoot together or keep me company on the climb (early start!), let me know.

The weather was quite bad over the few days preceding this shot. For the summer anyway. A lot of rain, but quite warm at the same time. I was having some downtime, flicking through channels on the TV, when I saw sunlight coming through my window. I looked out and I saw the Sun piercing through some very heavy clouds. I decided to go sunset hunting, it was a bit of a 50/50 bet.
On my way to Bangor the sun disappeared completely and left me thinking that there's little sense in going any further. The weather didn't disappoint though when I finally arived at the marina. The last rays of sun were reflecting of the buildings around the coast. I found my way to the very edge of the rocks around the marina, set up my tripod in the water and started to shoot. I didn't even notice the rising tide, I looked over the shoulder just to witness some of the path I used under water. I made a hasty retreat jumping over some sections.
